SHE IS HERE!!!

 -GEORGIA JEAN HATLEY-
October 12th, 2012
6lbs. 11oz.  18 1/2 inches

beautiful, sweet and so far a really good baby! (I probably shouldn't even put that in the blogosphere and jinx myself...)

We are all doing well! Charlotte has been pretty good with her. She loves to look at the baby and point out her body parts. Not a big fan when I am feeding the baby!

We are truly blessed and thankful for our sweet and healthy girls

Count Down!

Only 9 more days until baby "Georgia" makes her arrival. We are scheduled for a C-Section on October 12th. We get to take one last peek at her tomorrow at an ultrasound. We can't wait to see her in person, hold her and most of all see how her big sister reacts. Charlotte knows that "baby" or "Georgia" is in mommy's tummy, but other than that she really has know idea what is about to happen. Poor thing!!! Thankfully we are going to have a lot of grandparent help to keep her entertained.

Here are a few pictures from the past month: (all taken on my phone, so quality is not that great!)

Loves playing dress up, especially in her boots

taking a peek from behind mommy's tummy

Loves her US Weekly

"T" bought us a pet fish....pet fish lived approximately 1.5 days....oops

on her way to a "princess party"
Next post will probably be introducing our newest member of our family. Prayers and thoughts are much appreciated!

First Day of School!

First Day of School!

Charlotte started at Methodist Day School in the 18 month old class today - she did great and only had a few "sad" tears as the teacher reported. She is going to love it! Her classroom is in the same building where I work, so that makes it convenient and less nerve racking. She could barely keep her eyes open on the 4 block ride home, so I know she had a good time!

As most of you know from reading previous posts that butterflies have become sort of a reminder or a symbol of Beaux for our family. I have seen 3 monarch butterflies so far today. Just a sweet little reminder that he is always in our thoughts and hearts, especially on big days like today!

Bye Bye Summer

We closed out a fun summer with our annual "family friends trip" on Lake McQueeney. We always rent the same great house, but with 12 adults and soon to be 10 kids in the mix we have officially run out of room. We had a great time and it was so fun to see all the kids interact and play - wish we could see our "buddies" all the time!
The Lasswell boys ( minus 1)

as you can see bathing suits were "optional" for the kiddos

Summer fun.....and some nesting issues

We've been having some great fun this summer! Charlotte is a water baby - she absolutely LOVES the pool, the sprinkler, the puddles - anything that has to do with water. Lucky for me, because in this heat all I want to do is slip in to my "sexy" maternity suit and hit the pool. (Needless to say I will try to spare all of you the visual)
Charlotte and her sweet friend "Sunny". Sunny loves giving kisses and hugs....

Relaxing in the pool, told you she loves the water!

Sharing a Father's Day ice cream cone.
We went to San Antonio to play and spend the night with our favorite boyfriends. The Lasswell Boys (now 4 of them) are all so sweet and treat Charlotte like a princess. They follow her around and play so well with each other. We love going to visit the "boys" as she calls them!

Playing "Trains"

We loaded up all 6 kids, yes 6 kids, in the Suburban and headed for the Splash Pad

Charlotte had her first "official" haircut in Austin this past weekend. She has had a few trims from her "Grannie".  The bangs and mullet had to be cut ASAP! We went to "Pigtails and Crewcuts" and she did great!

Hope everyone had a Happy 4th of July!

An adult Vacay!

A few weeks ago Micah and I left Miss Charlotte and took off for a week long vacation without a child! One of my oldest and dearest friends Lindsey was getting married in San Francisco. We extended the vacation out and rented a house in Napa with some other couples. It was GLORIOUS!!!! Even though I really didn't get to participate in the "wine-tasting", it was great to see all the different vineyards, eat the yummy food and relax!
Enjoying the wonderful weather!

....and the yummy food!

Lombard Street

We took a ferry boat to Tiburon. Great views of the Golden Gate Bridge!

A scenic overlook off Hwy 1

Micah relaxing at the vineyard

Enjoyed having dinner with my cousin Molly and her boyfriend Matt, who live in Napa. So jealous they get to soak in that beauty everyday!!

Charlotte did great with my mom and Micah's mom. Thanks again "T" and "Granny" for helping out so we could have a wonderful vacation!
